Our Duties:

Coordinate transportation for daily commuting, extracurricular events (sporting events...etc), curricular events (required field trips), after school activity buses, the cooperative work experience program, and special needs students.



Conduct school bus safety training.


Establish & conduct safety/quality assurance inspections on all bus routes, bus stops & established walking zones.


Issue bus passes for all authorized registered riders.


Develop inclement weather response plans.


Manage the security attendant programs.


Work closely with school administrators and military commands to establish commuting/ walking zones.


Investigate/resolve all student conduct concerns on our vehicles.

 
PCSing Information:
In regards to student transportation, the following are steps that need to be taken before accepting housing at your new duty station:
  1. Talk to the housing office about availability of bussing in the desired housing area.
  2. Register with the DoDDS Pacific school your child will be attending before registering with the transportation office.
  3.

You must bring DoDEA Form 600 and your child(ren) to get photographed for a bus pass at your local student transportation office.

Note: Passes will not be issued without the child present. Form 600 will be provided by the attending school.

 
Please talk to your children about proper school bus behavior.
