I wish to acknowledge Mr. Roy Hall for his unwavering dedication to the arts. After 30 plus years as an educator, Roy has decided to move on and seek new challenges. Roy has given our students and teachers so much. Words cannot express our appreciation for his commitment to education, consistently improving this publication as well as the Far East Music program.
Roy Hall’s spirit was the catalyst for this issue of the SUN and we humbly dedicate this publication to him.

A Leaf Has Fallen...
A leaf has fallen down on the ground.
Nature’s all around us so come and see.
Friends have come and gone as fast,
but don’t forget the memories that last.
So let’s make new friends in different places,
but let’s not forget about each other and old faces.
A leaf has fallen so come and see,
and let us be free…
to spread our wings and touch the sky-
and to fly…
to see each other in one another’s eyes.
A leaf has fallen.

The Willow Tree
The willow tree
So graceful
So majestic
By the river full of ripples
This wonderful tree
Waving at you
Following the pattern of wind
A child swings gently in a room of leaves
The sun is just right
For the perfect day
In a willow tree
