The
Pacifica is a publication of news and events from
the Department of Defense Schools in the Pacific
Area.
Featured
are articles and photographs from schools in Guam,
Japan, Korea, and Okinawa that display and celebrate
some of the exciting activities that have occurred
since last spring.

was a great success with students learning

OKINAWA
These
students are enjoying themselves while learning
a self-defense discipline. By the end of the school
year these fourth and fifth-graders will know all
the requirements to be a yellow belt in karate.
All the KARATE KIDS are winners because they are
into action, doing their best, and getting better
each day. |
