Over one hundred and fifty thespians met at Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan 2-6 February 2009 for the Far East Drama Festival. Students participated in workshops to improve their acting skills.  They had the opportunity to perform prepared works for each other in small groups as well as on the main stage before a panel of judges.
