2005 Principals' Conference
|
Instructional Leadership for
Mathematical and Scientific Inquiry.
This year, the DoDDS-Pacific/DDESS-Guam principals’ conference provided participants with an in-depth look at instructional best practices in mathematics and science instruction, content standards in both subjects, and several interactive sessions designed to increase their knowledge of inquiry instruction. Throughout the week, school leaders had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of research that supports quality math and science instruction; acquire classroom observation skills that focus on best practices and program implementation; and increase their knowledge of research-based practice skills that promote inquiry.
